Attorney Christopher Mitchell Speaks on the Regulation of Virtual Currencies

On January 24 2018, Christopher Mitchell joined fellow attorney Michael Sussman and gave a Continuing Legal Education presentation to the New York State Bar Association’s Technology and Venture Law Committee.

The presentation provided attendees with guidance on the climate of the regulation of virtual currencies in the United States, from a securities, commodities and tax perspective. The presentation included a review and analysis of foundational court cases along with current and pending legislation likely to effect the virtual currency space.
